False Heroics/FTF Tour - Ottawa!

We are on the road! FTF got this amazing touring van, fully decked out in luxury with Xbox and DVD player. We watched Royal Tenenbaums on the way to Ottawa today, although most of the trip I spend asleep in Mike's car, since I got no sleep last night (finishing up the Meltdown! compilation design. See the cover.) Tonight we played in the basement of a church to about 70 kids with the average age of 15 I'd say. Our old friend Joanna from Brantford came out to the show, as did Chris Millward, so it was cool to see some familiar faces. It was a cool show, but I would have liked to have seen an Ottawa band playing with us.. and the show was over by 9ish! We went out for poutine and drinks with a bunch of people afterwards, and I got into a discussion about Catholic theology with a guy there, which was stimulating conversation. Well, for us anyways, everyone else was probably bored sick. Now Dave, Jared, Jon and I are spending the night at Millward's. Tomorrow's show in Montreal was canned, but at least that gives us a bit more of a sane schedule to work with for getting to Fredericton for Wednesday.
