The small community and multiculturalism of Glendon offers great and unique potential to the cultural life of the college. My primary concern as Director of Cultural affairs is to offer quality cultural activities that attract and unite the Glendon community. Glendon is home to students from over 83 countries! I want to listen your story and learn your background to create events that will interest you. Glendon's potential for cross-cultural connections is inherent in its community, but it has not yet been fully appreciated. I believe we have the potential to go beyond Pub nights or winter carnivals. I want you to love Glendon as much as I do, and this year we are going to make it happen.

If Elected, I Will ...
  • Create a series of quality events including conferences, parties, trips and in-school activities that celebrate Glendon and Toronto's multiculturalism.
  • Create a sense of community by utilizing Glendon's enormous potential.
  • Establish a Cultural Affairs committee for students to participate in the organization of events.
  • Work with the Vice President in organizing fundraising activities that will serve to improve student life at Glendon while helping to increase the union's budget.
  • Commit to accountability and transparency in all of council's activities.
