fifty-seventy pages?!?

so i've got to write a HUGE paper on electoral reform. 50-70 pages. and i'm just barely scratching the surface of all the reading i need to do for this.

i just thought i'd use this period of time to point out that procrastination is the force that makes me actually write on my blog. that and the drive to be productive. somehow things like blogs provide me with a middle-ground. i'm being productive (kind of) but still procrastinating! glory!

i'm getting grown up

For those of you who might for some reason be reading this, and still haven't heard - it's true, I'm engaged to this beautiful girl named Autumn Bowen. Anyways, we're not sure when we're going to do that though, and we're determined to never have a house with a white picket fence, so don't think I'm going all old-person on everyone.

In other news, I'm back in school in Toronto, got moved in to a pretty sweet place on Queen St. East with Yoani (one of my friends from Glendon) and a really cool couple, Ben and Anna. All is well in our household. Great people, cool house.

I'm back in Brantford a lot though, practicing with the band to go back to Barrie to record some more at the end of October, and as well, getting things moving on planning for the election campaign. Been trying to rope together a gang of Green Party supporters to rally behind me and make my job easier. It's a long way to go.
